The importance
of Forgiveness and Love

A cornerstone for healing.
James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other
so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man
is powerful and effective.
Hebrews 13:1-2
Keep on loving each other as brothers. 2) Do not forget to
entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained
angels without knowing it.
John 15:12-14
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13)
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his
friends. 14) You are my friends if you do what I command.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. 5) It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not
easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6) Love does not
delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7) It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Proverbs 15:30
A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news
gives health to the bones.
Proverbs 12:18
Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise
brings healing.
Proverbs 16:24
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and
healing to the bones.
Isaiah 58:7-8
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to
provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the
naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh
and blood? 8) Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and
your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will
go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
Romans 13:9-10
The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not
steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are
summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 10)
Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love
is the fulfillment of the law.
Mark 11:23-25
"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go,
throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but
believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24)
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you
have received it, and it will be yours. 25) And when you stand
praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so
that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
John 14:23
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.
My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home
with him.
